What is JUMP?

JUMP is a utility program designed to work with files in the Janome .jef format. It provides a number of features, some of which are not available anywhere else:
bulletBackup your designs to CD!
If you use any version of the Windows XP operating system, and you have a CD drive capable of recording, you can easily back up your design collections to CD-R or CD-RW media. Don't lose all the designs you've collected to a computer crash!
bulletDisplay Designs
Up to 100 designs can be opened in a collection that is displayed in a window on your screen. It's like laying your designs out on a table where you can look at them.
bulletPrint Catalogs and Templates
Choose to print all designs in the collection, or just the ones you select.
bulletEdit Designs
Select a design, then change colors, rotation, hoop size, and even default tension.
bulletSend designs to an ATA Card
JUMP supports the card formats of the MC10000/10001, MC300E, and MC9500. You can send designs to the card, read them back into the computer from the card, or initialize cards for your sewing machine.
bulletOrganize your design files
JUMP introduces a new type of file, the JEF Design Collection (.jdc) which allows up to 100 designs to be stored in a single file. This makes it easy to organize your designs, as well as quickly open a set of designs and send them to the ATA Card.
