This information applies to Memory Craft 10000 version 2.2 and later.

I used a CompactFlash reader/writer to put some designs in my ATA PC Card, but when I put the card in my machine, they don't show up. Why?

The Memory Craft 10000 organizes the ATA PC Card by creating three folders on it. EMB_FILE is used by the machine when designs are saved from the Edit screen, or when the folder key on the touch screen is used. In PC Link mode, designs from this memory will be show with the title Open File on the screen. PC_LINK is the folder where designs go when they are sent to the card from a computer using the USB or RS-232C serial cables. The title for this memory on the screen will be PC Link. The third folder, ORD_FILE is used only in the ordinary sewing mode for saving and opening stitch patterns.

When using the ATA PC Card in your computer with a CompactFlash reader/writer, you can manually copy jef files to either the EMB_FILE or PC_LINK folder. Don't put more than 100 designs in either folder. Using any of the Janome programs, the folder that the designs will be placed in is controlled by the Select Open/Save folder box.

When unchecked, designs will go to the PC_LINK folder, while checking the box will send them to the EMB_FILE folder.
