I've heard that when you install both Customizer 10000 and Digitizer 10000, the EasyEdit icon can be lost. How can I prevent/fix this?

First, let's look at the problem. Customizer 10000 and Digitizer 10000 each have a program called EasyEdit. That in itself is not a problem, except that when both are installed, they each have a desktop icon with the same name:

Installing the first product establishes a set of icons on the desktop, but when the second product is installed, the EasyEdit icon from the first one is overwritten and lost. Use the table below to avoid this problem, or if you've already encountered it, to correct it.
