When I convert PES designs to JEF with Digitizer 10000, I have
trouble sending them to the 10000. Why? There is a problem with Digitizer 10000 through version 1.0C. When a design in PES format is opened in the EasyDesign program, and subsequently saved as a JEF format design, the design cannot be sent to the MC1000 using PC Link. If you put the design on a PC Card, the MC10000 will report that the card is damaged when you try to access that design. The problem comes about when the PES design begins with a single lock stitch in the center of the hoop. Digitizer fails to start the saved JEF design with the proper code, leading to a corrupt design. This problem has been corrected in all versions of Digitizer, so an update to the latest version will correct it. |
