How do I delete designs that I have placed in the built-in memory or PC Card?
To delete designs from the MC1000 using PC Link, from the menu of any of the Janome programs (EasyImport, EasyEdit, EasyGigahoop or EasyTransfer), choose MemoryCraft -> Delete Designs. The following dialog will appear.

Start by specifying whether you are deleting from the Built-in memory or the ATA PC Card. If the Select Open/Save folder box is checked, the named file memory (the one you select with the folder keys) will be used instead of the PC Link memory.

Put a check mark next to each design shown (The memory shown here is empty, so there are no designs.), and click the Delete button to remove the files.

To delete them from a CompactFlash card that has been placed in your computer, use any of the programs mentioned above and choose ATA Card -> Write Designs, Read and Erase. This dialog will appear:

To delete designs from the card, you must

  1. Select the designs to be removed.
  2. Click the X <-- button.
  3. When the Select Open/Save folder box is unchecked, you are deleting from the PC_Link folder. Check it to delete from the Emb_file folder.

Caution! There is no undo, so once you have delete the designs they are gone for good.
