 | HASP Driver
for Digitizer Pro (Certified for Windows Vista)
NEW!
When Digitizer Pro is installed on a system using Windows
Vista,
you will receive an error message when you try to open any of the
programs. This is due to the driver used by Digitizer to access the USB security
key (dongle), which is not compatible with Windows Vista. To correct
the problem, follow these steps:
- Install Digitizer Pro using any Digitizer Pro CD. This
can be the full product CD, the Digitizer 10000 to Pro
upgrade CD, or the Digitizer Pro 2.0 update CD. All of these
CDs will install the full program, and none of them require
a prior version of Digitizer installed on the target
computer.
- When installation finishes, the computer will be
restarted. Following the restart, you will be asked to
insert the security dongle into a USB port. Do this. After a
couple of minutes you will receive a message that the
program is now ready to use. DO NOT attempt to use Digitizer
Pro yet!
- This step is very important! Unplug the
security dongle from the computer. It must be completely
removed.
- Download the Vista-compatible dongle driver by clicking
the above link. Choose the Save option and click the
Save button.
- Click the START button. In the right column,
click your name to open your folders. Then find the
Downloads folder and double click to open it.
- Right click on the HASPdriver compressed file
icon and choose the option to Extract All.
- When the extract dialog opens, click the Browse
button. Choose the Desktop and click the OK
button. Finally, click the Extract button.
- When extraction finishes, close all open windows. Find
the folder HASPdriver on the desktop and double click
it to open it.
- Find the file setup in the folder. Double click
it.
- Choose the Run option from the box that opens.
When the security warning appears, again choose the Run
option. When yet another security dialog opens, choose
Continue.
- After a few seconds a dialog will open saying that the
operation was successful. Click OK.
At this point you can plug in the dongle. A "new driver"
message will pop up. When it finishes, Digitizer Pro is ready to
use. Note that this driver will not work for
Digitizer 10000, which is not supported on Windows Vista. |
 | Fix for Various
Digitizer Oddities Digitizer sometimes behaves strangely, especially under Windows
ME. This may include failure to open after the program has been used
once, or problems with scanning. This patch is packaged as a zip
file. Save it to your Windows desktop. The content file (scanfix.bat) must be
extracted to your
desktop and double clicked in order to function. It only works if Digitizer has been
installed to the default location. To download the fix, right
click on the link and choose Save Target As. |
 | SuperCard Current version is 1.0.6.3 (Check yours with "Help -> About" on the
menu.) If you need to update your copy,
download this file to your desktop and double click to
install. After the update has been installed, you may delete the
downloaded file. |
 | Digitizer 10000
Persistent Hoop Digitizer 10000 does not offer the option to hide the hoop from
the digitizing screen. This feature was added in the version 1.2
update, but prior to that we had a small utility that added an
addition choice in the hoop settings called "No hoop." This download
will install it, but only if Digitizer has been installed to the
default location on drive C. |
 | Digitizer 10000 Versions 1.2
and 1.3 -
Restore Italic Script Due to problems with the letter
J when using a
size of 10, and a width of 85, the Italic Script font was removed
from Digitizer 1.2. This download will restore it. Save to your
desktop, then double-click to restore. Note that this is for
Digitizer 10000 versions 1.2 and 1.3 only! |
