Follow these simple steps:
- Put the PC Card in your computer.
- Open EasyImport or EasyTransfer, whichever
you have.
- From the menu, choose ATA Card -> Write Designs, Read and Erase.
- Make sure the Select Open/Save Folder box is checked.
- Select all the designs in the list on the top right part of the
dialog.
- Click the Erase button (Erase <--). When all
designs are gone, click the Exit button.
- Put the ATA PC Card in the MC10000.
- Put the Memory Card in the Card Reader.
- At the sewing machine, open the first design on the 9000 card.
- Touch the Edit key. This will put the design in the Edit
screen.
- Touch the Folder key on the Edit screen. This opens the file
save dialog.
- Touch the Built-in/Save key so it says Save (Card)
on the screen.
- This step is optional, but recommended. Touch the Filename key.
For a file name, I recommend using the card number and the design number
within the card. For example, the 4th design on card 109 would be named as
109_04. I use two digits for each design number, so that they will
sort into proper order on the computer.
- Save the design by touching the OK key.
- Exit the Edit mode by touching the Cancel key.
- Repeat steps 8-14 for each of the other designs on the card.
- Put the PC Card back in your computer.
- Again choose ATA Card -> Write Designs, Read and Erase.
- Make sure the Select Open/Save Folder box is checked.
- All of the designs will be listed. Choose the folder where you want
them to be saved in the box at the bottom of the dialog.
- Select all of the designs in the list of what's on the card.
- Click the Read button (<--).
